Scenes 12.10: GM Bruce Allen Fired!?

Scene of the Week: Oklahoma Makes the CFB Playoff

The Oklahoma Sooners defeated the Baylor Bears this past Saturday to win the Big 12 title. But more importantly, they were able to clinch a spot in the College Football Playoff thanks to losses by Georgia and Utah.

Oklahoma has been a solid team all season with their one loss coming from Kansas State earlier in the season. They have won the rest of their games including impressive victories over Baylor twice, Texas, and Oklahoma State. With starting QB Jalen Hurts having a phenomenal year, it’s unfair to count this team out when the playoffs come around.

Expect a great game from this Oklahoma Sooner team and a great College Football Playoff!

Take of the Week: Washington Fires GM Bruce Allen Next Week?

With Washington sitting at 3-10, this season is over. Washington football needs to find a new HC, with Bill Callahan most likely not getting the permanent job. In order to find a head coach who wants to take on the challenge, some changes desperately need to be made in the front office, and Dan Synder has finally realized that, according to Jason La Canforna.

Washington could land a solid HC very soon with some of the options being Baylor’s HC Matt Rhule, current Washington OC Kevin O’Connell, former Panthers HC Ron Rivera among others. In order for these coaches to come to Washington, Bruce needs to go. This is what Trent Williams has been striving for all season, and Bruce actually getting fired might become a reality very soon.

Anthony Joshua Defeats Andy Ruiz Jr. In Rematch

Joshua is 23-1 with 21 knockouts. Guess who his one loss came to? Joshua and Ruiz fought earlier this year in New York with Ruiz shocking the world and defeating Joshua by TKO. It was Joshua’s first loss of his career, and it put Ruiz’s name on watch.

The rematch took place in Saudi Arabia, and Joshua dominated the whole fight, showing a lot more aggression toward Ruiz this past fight. Once the 12th round was over, everyone knew Joshua would be the winner.
Much respect to both of these fighters for always being class acts toward each other, and I, along with the rest of the world, hope for a third fight to go down.
